Deirdre Rogers - Project Management, IT Service Management and Privacy Professional
Deirdre is an associate with Mecanix and is a Privacy (CIPP) and Project Management Professional. A 25 year seasoned veteran of the high-tech industry, Deirdre has worked with such industry luminaries as Xerox, Apple, Prentice Hall and Intrawest, with national and international responsibilities. Originally from a sales and marketing background, Deirdre made the shift to internal operations to assist companies in becoming truly solution oriented rather than product focused.
Deirdre’s success is attributable to her ability to live in the details of complex projects while maintaining a strong link to strategic objectives. Working seamlessly between the front line staff and executive management, Deirdre is able to communicate on all levels, focusing multiple agendas to the task at hand and deliver amazing results quickly. Her facilitation and negotiation skills help to remove internal barriers to project success. For privacy initiatives, she believes privacy shouldn't get in the way of engaging with your customers, employees, or patients - it should enhance the overall experience due to the increased level of trust. Her skills lie in developing and designing internal privacy training programs to helping organizations embed privacy practices into day-to-day operations.
Systems implementations can be a daunting task in trying to create a cohesive team of business users, system vendors and executive management. Deirdre helps organizations determine accountabilities, manage conflicting priorities between departments and vendors, and ultimately focuses the customer on the customer or user experience. While managing the business system selection, procurement and implementation, she ensures all her projects include operational and organizational readiness to ensure a successful implementation (system adoption).
Many of Deirdre’s projects also include a partnering strategy. Her experience leveraging the strengths of partners enable the delivery of solutions often at lower costs, with broader support, and shared accountability.
